"Care Beyond Clinics, Service Beyond Self”- TEAM NBF Bharat & SAPT Organised Mega Blood Donation Camp On WPD 2025
Chandigarh 8 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day 2025 under Mission Jeevan Rekha, a Mega Blood Donation Camp was organized at PGIMER, Chandigarh by Navya Bharat Foundation (NBF Bharat) and Student Association of Physical Therapy (SAPT), in collaboration with Khel Bharti Chandigarh and the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER. The camp was dedicated to paying tribute to the brave martyrs of our nation The event was graced by the presence of Dinesh Uniyal, Inspector General( IG) , North-West Sector, CRPF, as the Chief Guest.He highlighted CRPF’s invaluable role in national security, appreciated the nobel efforts of blood donors, and extended heartfelt wishes to NBF for this humanitarian initiative.
The program was chaired by Prof. Vipin Kaushal, Medical Superintendent( MS), PGIMER, who inspired and encouraged the organizers and participants. Distinguished Guests of Honour – Prof. Rati Ram (HOD,Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER), Prof. Suchet Sachdev (Consultant,Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER), and Sunil Dutt (Joint Secretary, Khel Bharti Punjab) – also appreciated this impactful awareness drive. On this occasion, Dr. Anirudh Uniyal, Physiotherapist, PGIMER CHANDIGARH,Founder & National President of NBF BHARAT& SAPT INDIA reiterated the organization's commitment to nation-building and welfare, guided by the motto “Rashtra Seva Parmo Dharmah.”He emphasized that India’s safety rests on the courage of our brave soldiers, while also expressing solidarity with the flood-affected regions of North India.
Alongside, with the support of ROTTO (North), an Organ Donation Awareness Camp was also held.The drive saw enthusiastic participation from doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, students, and staff of PGIMER, including Simran Kaur, Ankur, Khalid, Gunjan, Rishabh, Deeksha, Nandini, Anubhav, Kaushal, Prashant, Arushi, Drishti, Khushi, Satvik, Harman,Mehak and many others joined for the noble cause.
