Swami Sampoornanand and MLA Kulwant Singh graced the Shri Srimad Bhagwat Katha Yagya being held at the Siddha Baba Bal Bharti Ancient Shiva Temple, Sector-71, Mataur. The Katha was narrated by Acharya Jagadamba Ratudi, and the dignitaries were honored by her. Swami Sampooranand explained the significance of the Srimad Bhagwat to the devotees.

S.A.S.Nagar 9 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the occasion of Pitru Paksha, the first and second days of the Pitru Shanti Maha Yagya and the Srimad Bhagwat Katha Yagya at the Siddha Baba Bal Bharti Temple, Mataur, saw the narration of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha by Acharya Jagadamba Ratudi. During this, she narrated the story of Dhundhakar, along with the story of how Narada Rishi and Shukdev Ji narrated the Srimad Bhagwat to King Parikshit. It is noteworthy that the Pitru Shanti Maha Yagya and the Srimad Bhagwat Katha Yagya are being held daily from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Siddha Baba Bal Bharti Temple, Mataur, from September 7th to 13th, 2025. On the second day of the Katha, Shri Shri 108 Taponisht Brahmachari Swami Sampooranand Ji Maharaj and local MLA Kulwant Singh, along with their teams, were present. 

Both dignitaries welcomed Acharya Jagadamba Ratudi with garlands and expressed their happiness that the devotees had the opportunity to listen to the Srimad Bhagwat from her. On this occasion, Swami Sampooranand Ji Maharaj explained the benefits of the Srimad Bhagwat Katha to the devotees. MLA Kulwant Singh appreciated Swami Sampooranand for building the Shiva Temple in Mohali and also explained the benefits of performing and listening to the Srimad Bhagwat Katha during Pitru Paksha. 

Also present were the current president of the temple committee, Tirlochan Singh Baidwan with his team, Master Vasudev Kaushik, Arun Goyal, Harmesh Singh Kumbhda, MLA's younger brother Kuldeep Singh Samana, Sitar Khan, Pandit Gopal Mani Shastri, and the entire team of Shri Satya Narayan Temple, Mataur, including its current president Narendra Vats and the temple's chief priest Sohan Lal Shastri. During this period, the organizers of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita recitation stated that a grand aarti (devotional ritual) is performed daily after the recitation, and that daily rituals including Ganesh worship, Vedic chanting, ancestral rites, offering of food to the departed, and a fire ritual (Havan Yagya) are conducted every morning at 8:00 AM.
