LC Panchkula Premier Organizes Mega Tree Plantation Drive in Mohali, 12 Evergreen Trees Planted S.A.S.Nagar 5 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Lions Club Panchkula Premier organized a _Mega Tree Plantation Drive_ today at JLPL Sector 82-A, Mohali. A total of _12 evergreen trees_ were planted during the event. Club members present included Ln Ikesh Pal Singh (ZC), Ln Dr SS Bhamra, Ln Raman Kumar, along with school children from Ryan International School, Mohali. Lion Bindra from District 321-F, LC Mohali also joined the drive. The students were given on-site training on tree plantation and made aware of the impact of deforestation on climate change. They were also informed about the ideal plantation timings, as rainfall not only ensures better plant growth but also provides natural nitrogen fertilizer.
