Punjab Government Must Address Fodder Shortage: Punjab Gaushala Mahasangh Fodder Crisis Poses Threat to Lives of Thousands of Animals S.A.S.Nagar 5 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Punjab Gaushala Mahasangh (Punjab Cow Shelter Federation) has demanded that the Punjab government immediately impose a ban on the hoarding of fodder (specifically *tudi* or wheat straw) and take necessary measures, including making proper arrangements, to save the animals. Swami Krishnanand Ji Maharaj, National President of the Goseva Mission, stated that Punjab is currently facing an extremely severe crisis regarding the availability of fodder. Several cardboard factories, brick kilns, and coal-fired boilers have purchased fodder from farmers on a massive scale, directly from the fields. ਤੂੜੀ /ਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਟ ਦੂਰ ਕਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਗਊਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਮਹਾਸੰਘ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ 5 ਮਈ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਗਊਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਮਹਾਸੰਘ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੜੀ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਨ 'ਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾਣ। ਗਊਸੇਵਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾਨੰਦ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਵਾਂ, ਮੱਝਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੂੜੀ /ਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੰਕਟ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੁਝ ਮਿੱਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਸੰਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੜੀ/ਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੜੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਘਾਟ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਿਨੋ-ਦਿਨ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਬੂ ਨਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਲਈ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੜੀ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਤੂੜੀ ਦੇ...
