Mahaveer Janm Kalyanak Mahamahotsav (Mahaveer Jayanti) Concludes with Grandeur Chandigarh 31 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The sacred Mahaveer Janm Kalyanak Mahamahotsav (Mahaveer Jayanti) of Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami was celebrated today with great devotion, enthusiasm, and grandeur. The day’s programme commenced in the morning at Shri Shwetambar Jain Mandir, Sector 28, with the Hon’ble Governor Gulab Chand Kataria offering prayers and paying obeisance to Bhagwan. Thereafter, Bhagwan was ceremoniously placed in a chariot, and at 9:30 AM, the Governor flagged off the grand Shobha Yatra.
