Consumers Association, Chandigarh Demands Strict Action Against Illegal LPG Refilling and Black Marketing Chandigarh 26 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Consumers Association Chandigarh has expressed serious concern over the alleged illegal refilling and black marketing of LPG gas cylinders operating in the city and nearby areas following the recent fire incident in Sector-45. The association has demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter and strict action against those responsible. Association General Secretary N.K. Jhingan stated that the organization has sent a detailed memorandum to the Adviser to the Administrator, Home Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Director General of Police, Senior Superintendent of Police, Chief Fire Officer, the Food and Civil Supplies Departments of Punjab and Haryana, oil companies, and other concerned authorities.
