APEDA to Inaugurate Regional Office in Chandigarh, Hold Stakeholder Meet on Agricultural Exports Chandigarh 8 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, in association with APEDA, will inaugurate its Regional Office in Chandigarh on June 9, 2026, at Hotel Shivalikview, Sector 17, Chandigarh. A stakeholder interaction meeting on promoting agricultural exports from Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh will also be held. The programme will be graced by Nitin Kumar Yadav, IAS, Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Government of India. Exporters, FPOs, growers, processors, cooperatives, industry associations and government agencies are expected to participate. The deliberations will focus on enhancing agricultural and processed food exports, addressing market access and logistics challenges, and strengthening export competitiveness in the region.
