Highland Kings Set the Early Pace as Panchkula Golf League Season 2 Tees Off Panchkula 4 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The opening day of the Panchkula Golf League (PGL) Season 2 witnessed an exciting start as defending champions Highland Kings stamped their authority early, topping Group A with an impressive 360 total points after the first round of matches. With all teams completing one fixture on Day One, the league standings already reflect the intensity of competition, as bonus points began playing a decisive role in shaping the table. Close on the heels of the leaders are ADS Falcons, who finished second with 336 points, followed closely by Shivalik Swingers on 332 points, keeping the race for the top wide open. SAD welcomes High Court order to send SSP Patiala viral video to CFSL Chandigarh

Will pursue matter till its logical end to ensure punishment to guilty : Arshdeep Singh Kaler

Chandigarh 4 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Shiromani Akali Dal today welcomed Punjab and Haryana High Court order to hand over probe of viral audio of Patiala SSP Varun Sharma to Chandigarh Forensic Lab for verification and said that the party will pursue this matter till its logical end to ensure punishment to guilty officials. Addressing a press conference here today, SAD Chief Spokesman and Legal Cell head Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler disclosed that matter was taken up by Chief Justice of High Court Justice Sheel Nagu led bench and during the hear the court reprimanded Chief Election Officer Raj Kamal Chaudhary for not complying with the orders issued by the court on December 10, 2025. He said that the High Court had given clear directions that the viral audio should be sent for verification to an independent agency which should not be under Punjab. He said that despite judicial orders audio was sent to Mohali FSL which is directly under the Punjab government.

He said that when the counsel for Chaudhary submitted that they had sent the matter to Punjab government who had sent it to Mohali CFSL to this Chief Justice said that the when election code if enforced all executive power vests with Election Commission.

He said that Punjab government was represented by Advocate General who had no answers to High Court questions as to why its orders were not complied ? He said that court was also told by them that SIT constituted for probe into the matter led by ADGP SPS Parmar had issued notices to complainants and no attempt was made to take voice samples of concerned officers.

Advocate Kler said that after reprimanding Punjab government and counsel for Election Commission, the High Court ordered that audio be sent to Chandigarh CFSL for verification. He said that SAD welcomes the orders of the court and will pursue this matter to its logical end to ensure that the guilty officers are punished for the offence committed by them.
