If salaries are not fixed by March 3, DPI office will be surrounded- ETT 6635
According to the letter of the Finance Department dated 5/1/2026, repeated late salaries citing non-availability of VAT are not acceptable
The fight for the Sixth Pay Commission will continue
Ferozepur 26 February ( PDL ) : Even after 1 month has passed since the order of the Honorable High Court, the salaries of ETT 6635 teachers are being continuously delayed due to non-fixation. Ignoring the orders of the district offices by the block offices, not submitting the correct report in coordination with the district office at the right time are also the main reasons for the delay in salaries. The leaders of the ETT 6635 Teachers Union have repeatedly visited the block and district offices. Before this, a memorandum was also submitted to the Director of Education Department (Elementary Education) Mrs. Harkirat Kaur Chane twice in this regard.
But even after 1 month, no reasonable solution has been found. Therefore, now the ETT 6635 Teachers Union State Committee has decided in an online meeting that if no meaningful solution is found by 3 March 2026, then a large-scale protest will be held in front of the office of the Director Education Department on 5 March. State President Deepak Kamboj, Shalindar Kamboj, Kuldeep Khokhar, Nirmal Zira, Ravinder Kamboj, Raj Sukhwinder Singh, Jagga Boha, Mandeep Batala, Buta Mansa, Des Raj, Sumit Kamboj, Danish Bhatti and Deep Banarasi leaders were present in this online meeting.
