MP Manish Tewari Inaugurates CCTV Cameras Installed Using MP Funds in Sector 32-C's Tenements Colony
Chandigarh 15 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Manish Tewari, the Congress Member of Parliament (MP) from Chandigarh, inaugurated a network of CCTV cameras on Sunday in the Tenements Colony of Sector 32-C—an area falling under Ward No. 22—which were installed using funds from his MP Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) fund.
According to local residents, a delegation from the area, led by Victor Sidhu, had recently met with MP Manish Tewari. They apprised Mr. Tewari of the need to install CCTV cameras in the colony, citing concerns regarding security arrangements and law and order issues. Taking cognizance of the matter, Manish Tewari subsequently facilitated the installation of the cameras in the colony using his MP funds.
On this occasion, Victor Sidhu (alias Bittu), Block President Balwinder Kaur, along with Sarabjit Kaur, Sonia, Kavita, Poonam, Mani, and Sardar Harbans Singh, expressed their gratitude to MP Manish Tewari. Victor Sidhu (alias Bittu) stated that the CCTV cameras installed in the Sector 32 colony—located within Ward No. 22—were funded through the MP's development fund. On behalf of all the colony residents, he expressed his sincere appreciation to Manish Tewari and the President of the Chandigarh Congress Committee, H.S. Lucky.
