31 ਆਰਥੋਪੀਡਿਕ ਸਰਜਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਐਡਵਾਂਸਡ ਮਿਨੀਮਲੀ ਇਨਵੈਸਿਵ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ
ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ 29 ਮਾਰਚ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੈਲਬੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਐਡਵਾਂਸਡ ਮਿਨੀਮਲੀ ਇਨਵੈਸਿਵ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ 31 ਆਰਥੋਪੀਡਿਕ ਸਰਜਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਆਰਥਰੋਸਕੋਪਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਜੋੜ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੀ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੈਲਬੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਹਰ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਾਈਵ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ, ਕੈਡੇਵਰਿਕ ਸਿਮੂਲੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਐਕਟਿਵ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਨਤ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਢਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਰਥਰੋਸਕੋਪੀ, ਰੋਬੋਟਿਕ-ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜੋੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿਨੀਮਲੀ ਇਨਵੈਸਿਵ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਔਸਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ। ਚੀਫ ਆਰਥੋਪੀਡਿਕ ਸਰਜਨ - ਸ਼ੈਲਬੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ,ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰਦੀਪ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਇਹ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਹੁਨਰ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਸਰਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਤਕਨੀਕਾਂ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਵਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।" 
ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ-ਆਰਥੋਪੈਡਿਕਸ ਡਾ ਗੁਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਥੋਪੈਡਿਕ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਜੋੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ 15 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਸ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਾਧੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਖੇਤਰੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਮਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹਨ।
