Two days national hernia conference concludes
Chandigarh 29 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The two days, 4th bi-annual national hernia conference, Young HSICON 2026, concluded at a hotel here on Sunday with a resolve to shape the future of hernia surgery through collaboration, innovation, and shared expertise. The conference was conducted under the banner of the Hernia Society of India in association with the Punjab Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India.
Dr. Anupam Goel, Organizing Chairman of this edition of conference said,” With every edition, we have strengthened its academic value and outreach. Hosting the 4th bi-annual conference in Chandigarh was a matter of great pride, as we bring together some of the finest surgical minds from across the country.”
Dr. Goel further said that the conference was aimed to provide a dynamic platform for surgeons, both experienced and emerging, to exchange knowledge, discuss complex cases, and explore cutting-edge surgical technologies. The conference was expected to further elevate clinical practices and strengthen collaboration within the surgical community, he informed.
