Nine Members Elected Unopposed in the Election of The S.A.S. Nagar Central Cooperative Bank Limited
S.A.S.Nagar 29 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The election process for the Board of Directors of the prominent financial institution of District S.A.S. Nagar, The S.A.S. Nagar Central Cooperative Bank Limited, was completed today peacefully and smoothly. All the nine Directors were elected unopposed, reflecting unity and consensus among the stakeholders. The Directors elected from various zones and societies include Ravinder Singh from Lalru Zone, Jagpreet Singh from Derabassi Zone, Hazara Singh from Zirakpur Zone, Harjit Singh from Gigemajra Zone, Darshan Singh from Landran Zone, Mandeep Singh from Padaul Zone, Daljit Singh from Kurali, and from Industrial Societies Sukhdev Singh Patwari and Surinder Singh Roda, all of whom were declared elected unopposed as members of the Board of Directors.
As no opposing candidates filed nominations from any zone or society, all the candidates were unanimously elected without any contest. It is noteworthy that Sukhdev Singh Patwari has earlier served as Vice Chairman of the Bank for nearly ten years, while all the remaining members have been elected to the Board for the first time. The newly elected Board of Directors stated that they will work with honesty and dedication to further strengthen the financial position of the Bank, provide better facilities to farmers, traders, industrialists, and the general public, and ensure a transparent and people-centric cooperative banking system. On this occasion, members associated with the Bank, representatives of cooperative societies, and supporters congratulated the newly elected Directors and expressed hope that under their leadership the Bank will scale new heights.
