He also demanded Rs 50 crore to Rs 70 crores annual research grant for the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to improve the research facilities for better agriculture. The Ludhiana MP made a strong case for providing debt relief to the small and marginal farmers through one time settlement by waiving off their interests. Mehndi Program for Women on the eve of Karva Chauth by SBI Officers Association
Chandigarh 10 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : SBI Officers Association Panchkula Module organised a grand Mehndi programme for women on the eve of Karva Chauth in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kurukshetra and Ambala. More than 150 women enthusiastically participated in the event, which emerged as a unique cultural celebration. During the event in Panchkula, Regional Manager Rishi Kumar and Assistant General Manager in Chandigarh Deepak Bansal extended warm wishes to all the women and distributed gifts.
