ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ 14 ਮਾਰਚ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਬਿਲਿੰਗ ਘੋਟਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਵਜੋਂ, ਸੀਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਫਤਹਿਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਥਿਤ ਲੋਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਪਾਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਇਨਵੌਇਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਫਰਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਫਰਮ ਨੇ 22.13 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਮੁੱਲ ਦਾ ਅਯੋਗ ਇਨਪੁੱਟ ਟੈਕਸ ਕ੍ਰੈਡਿਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਫਰਮ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ 12.03.2026 ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਇਕ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੀਜੀਐੱਸਟੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਟੈਕਸ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਈਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਰਦਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
