Chandigarh 31 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : As part of the ongoing Daslakshan festival at Shri Digambar Jain Mandir, Sector 27-B, Chandigarh, the fourth day of Uttam Shaucha Dharma was organised with reverence and devotion under the holy guidance of Brahmacharini Labdhi Didi (Himani Didi). It was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the devotees of the community. "Uttam Shauch ka Dharam" The meaning of shoch is- External and internal purity. External cleanliness purifies the body and internal cleanliness purifies the soul. Purifying the soul by being free from vices like greed, anger, attachment, ego etc. is the best Shaucha Dharma. By following this Dharma, one gets self-control, satisfaction and spiritual progress in life.
The morning program started with the first Abhishek. Nishant Jain of Delhi got the privilege of today's Abhishek. The first Shanti Dhara was done by Karun Jain and the second Shanti Dhara was done by Prachis Jain. Today was the auspicious birth anniversary of Lord Pushpadant, on the occasion of which one 9 kg and 1 kg 51 Nirvana Ladu were dedicated to the Lord. After this the Dashlakshana Vidhan started. Sodharamendra Advocate Adarsh Jain, Yagnanayak Ashok Jain Hello Majra and Kuberendra Jitendra Jain Mohali, Ishan Indra Subhash Jain were the organizers of today's ritual. The ritual was completed at 11 am, after which all the devotees had satvik food. The evening programs began with Maha Aarti at 6:30 pm. Thereafter the importance of good sanitation was explained to the devotees and the scholars in the religious assembly threw light on the importance of a simple and pure life. After this, a religious Tambola program was organized in which a large number of devotees participated.
