Grand Inauguration of Ayurveda Mahotsav 2025 in Panchkula — Massive Crowd on the First Day

Panchkula 12 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Ayurveda Mahotsav 2025 commenced on Friday in a grand and dignified ceremony at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector-5, Panchkula. Haryana Governor Asim Kumar Ghosh and the Lady Governor jointly cut the ribbon to inaugurate the three-day festival. Haryana Chief Minister’s Political Advisor, Tarun Bhandari, was present as a special guest on this occasion.

A massive crowd gathered on the very first day of the event. People arrived in large numbers to learn about Ayurveda and were seen purchasing Ayurvedic products from various exhibition stalls. The visitors displayed deep interest and growing awareness toward Ayurveda. In his address, Governor Asim Kumar Ghosh said that Ayurveda is not merely a system of treatment, but a complete way of life that maintains the balance of mind, body, and soul. He emphasized that in today’s changing lifestyle and increasing diseases, Ayurveda is emerging as the most effective and reliable medical system. Calling it the medicine of the future, he said that India possesses immense potential to lead this field globally. During the ceremony, the Governor also felicitated institutions and experts who have made notable contributions to Ayurveda.
Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Tarun Bhandari stated that the future belongs entirely to Ayurveda. He highlighted that our elders trusted natural remedies and home treatments, and today, scientific evidence is validating Ayurveda’s effectiveness. He added that by integrating Ayurveda with modern technology, innovative research, and global standards, it can be established as a mainstream medical system worldwide. Festival Patron Vaidya Rakesh Sharma remarked that this Mahotsav would prove to be a milestone in the field of holistic medicine. According to him, experts from across the country are sharing their research, experience, and modern perspectives, which will further strengthen the scientific foundation of Ayurveda. Among the distinguished experts present were Sanjay Tandon, Ajit Pal Singh, Sanchit Sharma, Taranjit Singh Bharna, Rampal Somani, and Hitesh Jani. All of them shared insights on the modern direction, technological progress, and global prospects of Ayurveda, further enhancing the dignity of the program.
The organizing team played a vital role in the event’s success, including Rishabh Dixit, Jay Soni, Manya Dixit, Yogita Bhati, and Shidhi Mishra. Their well-planned coordination ensured the event ran smoothly and impressively from the very first day. The exhibition features over 4,000 doctors, Ayurvedic scholars from across India, and more than 100 pharmaceutical manufacturers showcasing their research-based medicines and technologies. Free health camps, yoga sessions, consultation centers, and medicine distribution stalls drew large crowds throughout the day, offering direct benefits to the public. This Mahotsav held in Panchkula is not only spreading scientific awareness about Ayurveda among the masses but also inspiring renewed faith and consciousness toward natural healing.
