All conspiracies to weaken Congress will be defeated : Warring Reaffirms, party united; only alternative to incompetent AAP Says, AAP using people to divert attention from brutal abuse of power Chandigarh 9 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today asserted that all conspiracies aimed at weakening the Congress in Punjab will be defeated.  “Current controversy has been created to divert the public attention and shift the discourse from the AAP’s brutal abuse of police force in the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections”, he noted while pointing out, the AAP was on defensive and such sensational but baseless claims may provide them a breather from public scrutiny.  “When everyone was talking about the abuse of police force and the AAP was not having any answers, the attention was instantly diverted with sensational claims which have no base or truth in them”, he noted, while adding, “both the BJP and the AAP are masters ...

Motion Institute Kota Faces Serious Allegations

Chandigarh entrepreneur accuses institute of a ₹2.7 crore fraud and ₹200 crore revenue loss

Chandigarh 6 December ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : At a press conference held at the Chandigarh Press Club, city-based entrepreneur Naresh Goyal levelled serious allegations against Motion Institute Kota and its owner Nitin Vijay. Goyal claimed that he was induced to invest crores of rupees on the pretext of being granted a franchise, but the institute failed to provide the promised support and could not generate the projected revenue. Goyal alleged that Motion Institute Kota allotted him a franchise in Chandigarh in 2023.

According to him, owner Nitin Vijay personally visited Chandigarh and projected revenue of nearly ₹200 crore between 2025 and 2027, following which an agreement was signed. However, Goyal said the reality turned out to be completely different. Despite investing nearly ₹10 crore, he claimed the institute continued to make repeated demands for additional funds. Over the span of a year, the franchise could generate only ₹2.5 crore in business, leading to substantial financial losses. Goyal stated that, in the interest of students, he voluntarily facilitated the transfer of all enrolled students to reputed institutes to ensure their studies were not affected. The most serious allegation raised by Goyal was that even after suffering major financial losses and submitting multiple complaints to the Chandigarh Chief Secretary, DGP and SSP, no action was taken. He claimed the matter was ignored due to the influence and pressure exerted by major coaching institutes operating in Kota, often referred to as the “Mecca” for NEET and JEE aspirants. Goyal said that incidents of franchise-related frauds by coaching centres in Kota have frequently surfaced and demanded an impartial investigation into the matter.
