He also demanded Rs 50 crore to Rs 70 crores annual research grant for the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to improve the research facilities for better agriculture. Republic Day Celebrated at HLP Gallerria , Lieutenant General K. J. Singh Attends as Chief Guest
S.A.S.Nagar 26 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : As Mohali rapidly evolves into a modern metropolitan city, its mall culture is also carving out a distinct identity. Reinforcing the spirit of patriotism, HLP Gallerria Mall organized a grand Republic Day celebration, which was graced by Lieutenant General K. J. Singh as the Chief Guest. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. The entire mall premises resonated with patriotic fervour. Patriotic songs and cultural performances presented by security personnel added vibrancy to the celebrations. A large number of families, youngsters, and city residents participated enthusiastically in the event.
Addressing the gathering, Lieutenant General K. J. Singh said that Republic Day reminds citizens of their constitutional duties, national unity, and commitment towards the country.
