Chandigarh 12 February ( ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the fourth death anniversary of the legendary singer Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, a grand musical event “Alive Forever: Lata Mangeshkar – Edition 4” will be organized as a heartfelt tribute to her immortal legacy. The concert will be held on February 15 at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, from 5:30 PM onwards, with Rajya Sabha MP and CU Vice Chancellor Prof. Satnam Singh Sandhu gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The event is being organized by Immortal Musical Waves, Pathios Welfare League, and Dhun Music Academy, all of which are committed to promoting music and cultural values. The program is being held in association with the Haryana Department of Art and Culture. The organizers — Param Chandel, Vikas Singla, and Rajesh Kumar — addressed a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club today to share details about the musical evening.

Param Chandel stated that this unique musical series, being held for the fourth consecutive year on the nightingale’s death anniversary, is a tribute to her unparalleled contribution to Indian music. Eminent musicians and instrumentalists who have worked with Lata Mangeshkar in original recordings will perform on stage, recreating her timeless melodies and sharing their cherished memories with her.

Vikas Singla added that the concert will feature performances not only by veteran artists from the Laxmikant–Pyarelal group, but also by renowned singers from the Tricity region and popular contestants and winners from hit TV reality shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Indian Idol, Super Voice of India, and Voice of Punjab.

Rajesh Kumar mentioned that Alive Forever – Lata Mangeshkar is not merely a tribute event but also a vibrant platform for artists of all age groups to showcase their talent and promote local art and culture. The organizers also expressed gratitude to all sponsors and supporters, especially State Bank of India, VS Infra, Jagdambe Furnace, SRP US Logistics, Videsh Tours & Travels, Woodsbury Kindergarten, and Little Einsteins.
