Royal Kennel Club Panchkula to Organise Mega Dog Show on February 8
Panchkula 5 February( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Royal Kennel Club Panchkula is all set to organise the 7th edition of its much-awaited Mega Dog Show on February 8, 2026, in Panchkula. Speaking about the event, Sikander Singh of the Royal Kennel Club Panchkula said that this year’s edition will witness enthusiastic participation from dog owners not only from Panchkula but also from across the Tricity region.
Participants and visitors are expected from across India as well as from abroad, giving the event a truly international character.
Sharing further details, Singh stated that the event aims to create awareness among dog lovers about indigenous dog breeds and responsible dog ownership. A special attraction of the event will be indigenous dog breeds, in line with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call to promote and adopt Indian-bred dogs.
He added that it will be one of the biggest dog shows in North India, featuring attractive prizes across multiple categories.
He further informed that Ankur Gupta, Senior IAS (Retd.), Haryana, Patron and Founder of the Royal Kennel Club Panchkula, has played a pivotal role in establishing and promoting the club and continues to guide its vision and activities.
Singh also mentioned that judges from Finland, Chennai, and Delhi will officiate the show, bringing together international and national expertise. He added that Arishander Singh, DGP, and Alba Smeriglio, British Deputy High Commissioner (Vigilance), have graciously accepted the invitation to be the Chief Guests of the event.
The dog show will commence at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m. Several renowned dog lovers, distinguished guests, VIPs, and senior bureaucrats are expected to grace the occasion, making it a grand celebration for canine enthusiasts.
