Amit Shah’s Moga Rally Marks the Beginning of the Countdown for the Bhagwant Mann Government : Hardev Singh Ubha

• Moga rally set to significantly heat up the political atmosphere in Punjab

• The Mann government's false promises and failures will be exposed

• Congress, too, has failed to fulfill its responsibilities as the opposition

Chandigarh 13 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Hardev Singh Ubha, the State Press Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab, stated that the massive rally scheduled to be held in Moga by senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will prove to be a major turning point in Punjab's politics. He asserted that this rally would expose the failures of the Bhagwant Mann-led government before the people of Punjab, thereby marking the beginning of the countdown for the Mann administration.

Ubha noted that the law and order situation in Punjab has remained a matter of grave concern throughout the Mann government's tenure. Grand claims were made regarding the eradication of drugs, yet in reality, there has been no significant improvement in the situation. Promises to provide employment to the youth have gone unfulfilled, and the grievances of farmers and traders remain exactly where they stood before.

He alleged that the Bhagwant Mann government is attempting to stifle the voice of the media—an act that the people of Punjab will never tolerate. Ubha emphasized that in a democracy, the media is regarded as the "fourth pillar," and any attempt to suppress its voice runs counter to democratic values. He further stated that the upcoming rally in Moga is not merely a political event, but rather a signal marking the robust beginning of change in Punjab. People from every corner of the state are enthusiastic about participating in this rally in large numbers, and it is poised to create a new political climate within the state.

Taking aim at the Congress party as well, Ubha remarked that the Congress has completely failed to discharge its duties as the opposition in Punjab. He alleged that, in several instances, the Congress leadership appears to be colluding with the Mann government, resulting in the failure to forcefully raise the genuine issues facing the public. He stated that the people of Punjab now desire good governance, development, and security, and that the BJP is the only party capable of leading Punjab onto the path of progress and prosperity. He expressed confidence that Amit Shah's rally in Moga would infuse new vigor into the BJP's political campaign in Punjab and further accelerate the wave of change across the state.
