Harsimrat K Badal calls out Congress MPs for colluding with the AAP govt to block a CBI probe into the death of Warehousing officer Dr Gagandeep S Randhawa. Chandigarh 27 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal raised the issue of collusion of some Congress MPs of Punjab with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to block a CBI probe into the death of Warehousing officer Dr Gagandeep S Randhawa at the hands of then Transport minister Laljit Bhullar in parliament today. In a statement here, the Bathinda MP said this issue was apparently not to the liking of a Punjab Congress MP who always sang to tunes of chief minister Bhagwant Mann. “The MP protested vociferously but I reiterated my appeal to home minister Amit Shah to order a CBI probe into the case. I asserted that a large number of MPs from Punjab had demanded so in writing following a statement in this regard by the home minister and their wishes should be honoured”....
‘Dil De Jaani’ Released, Brings a Fresh Note to Punjabi Music Industry
Chandigarh 24 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjabi music lovers witnessed a special moment as the new Punjabi song ‘Dil De Jaani’ was officially released at an event held at Press Club, Sector 27, Chandigarh by “Wavekano Music” company. The song has been written by renowned lyricist Babu Singh Mann, while the music has been composed by noted music director Gurmeet Singh. The track is sung by emerging artist Vibh Sidhu, who is a two-time winner in the folk singing category at Panjab University.
The video features popular actor Sartaj Sidhu, known for his work in the Punjabi film White Punjab and several web series. The song has been directed by Bobby Bajwa. ‘Dil De Jaani’ has been released under the banner of Wavekano Music, led by Balwinder Singh and Arsh Nagra. The project also received special support from Bhupinder Singh (IAS), writer Harpreet Sekhon, and producer Taljinder Nagra.
Artists and dignitaries present at the event extended their best wishes for the song’s success, describing it as a refreshing addition to the Punjabi music scene.
