Harsimrat K Badal calls out Congress MPs for colluding with the AAP govt to block a CBI probe into the death of Warehousing officer Dr Gagandeep S Randhawa. Chandigarh 27 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal raised the issue of collusion of some Congress MPs of Punjab with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to block a CBI probe into the death of Warehousing officer Dr Gagandeep S Randhawa at the hands of then Transport minister Laljit Bhullar in parliament today. In a statement here, the Bathinda MP said this issue was apparently not to the liking of a Punjab Congress MP who always sang to tunes of chief minister Bhagwant Mann. “The MP protested vociferously but I reiterated my appeal to home minister Amit Shah to order a CBI probe into the case. I asserted that a large number of MPs from Punjab had demanded so in writing following a statement in this regard by the home minister and their wishes should be honoured”....
Kanjak Pujan of 151 Girls at the Transgender Temple on Ram Navami
Chandigarh 27 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri, the festival of Ram Navami was celebrated with immense reverence and devotion at the Jai Mata Kinnar Temple in Bapudham, Sector 26. Under the guidance of the Most Revered Peethadheeshwar (Spiritual Head) of the Jai Mata Temple—Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maa Kamalinand Giri Ji (of the International Kinnar Akhada and Juna Akhada)—the rituals of 'Kanjak Pujan' and the ceremonial bathing (Abhishek) of the Goddess with water from 108 sacred pitchers were performed within the temple premises.
His Holiness, the revered Head Priest of the Jai Mata Temple, Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maa Kamalinand Giri Ji Maharaj, stated that the festival of Navratri was celebrated at the temple with immense reverence and devotion. Throughout the nine days of the festival, the nine divine forms of the Mother Goddess were worshipped with deep reverence by the temple's nine priests.
He stated that during Navratri, on the occasion of Ram Navami, 151 girls and approximately 50 boys were worshipped. In addition to this, everyone has also been given blessings. Worship and rituals dedicated to the Mother Goddess were performed for nine days. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, a Havan Yajna, Mata ki Aarti, and Kanjak Pujan were performed, along with the worship of nine priests.
