‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ exposed, AAP leaders’ involvement has brought shame to Punjab : Chugh
Chandigarh 20 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a sharp attack on the Bhagwant Mann government, stating that the Aam Aadmi Party has turned governance in Punjab into a centre of lies, hypocrisy, confusion and political propaganda. He said that instead of answering critical issues such as deteriorating law and order, the growing drug menace, declining investor confidence and lack of administrative transparency, the AAP government is busy manufacturing new lies every day to build a false narrative against the Centre and the BJP.
Chugh said that the Mann government has reduced governance to propaganda. For months, it claimed that Punjab had received nothing from the Centre, but now the same Chief Minister is admitting that thousands of crores were available and are being utilised. This clearly exposes that the people of Punjab were deliberately misled, the Centre was maligned and falsehood was used to hide administrative failure.
‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ stands exposed Tarun Chugh said that the so-called anti-drug campaign of the Bhagwant Mann government, “Yudh Nashian Virudh,” has once again been exposed. The recent arrest involving the recovery of 4.3 kg of heroin, worth around Rs 10 crore, in which one of the accused is linked to AAP’s youth wing, is deeply shocking and shameful. He said this incident sends a strong message that the anti-drug campaign of the Kejriwal-Mann government is nothing but a hoax. A few days ago, an AAP sarpanch in Tarn Taran was arrested by the NCB with a huge consignment of heroin. Recently, even a police official lost his son to drugs in Jalandhar. These incidents clearly reflect the grim ground reality and the failure of the state government.
Chugh reminded that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to eliminate the drug menace within six months of coming to power. However, even after more than four years, not only has the problem worsened, but the involvement of AAP leaders has also come to the forefront. Tarun Chugh said that law and order in Punjab has collapsed, gangster networks are expanding and people feel increasingly unsafe. He said that when incidents of crime become routine, the responsibility of the government is to provide solutions, not spin narratives.
Chugh said that the AAP government has also indulged in politics in the name of farmers. Grand promises on MSP, agricultural reforms and relief remain unfulfilled. The state government continues to shift blame onto the Centre while evading its own responsibilities. He added that Punjab needs strong policy, credible governance and honest leadership, not theatrical politics. A government that says one thing in the morning and admits the opposite by evening is not working in public interest but indulging in political theatrics. Tarun Chugh said that Punjab is the sacred land of Gurus, saints and martyrs, and it cannot be left to lies, drugs, crime and political hypocrisy. He said the people of Punjab now understand the true model of the Aam Aadmi Party and will hold this government accountable for every lie, every betrayal and every failure.
