Chandigarh 04 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A significant meeting of the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India (Chandigarh Unit) was held in Chandigarh. Kamal Kant Jain Presiding Officer of the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Chandigarh, and former District and Sessions Judge (Retd.)—graced the event as the Chief Guest and extended his congratulations to the newly appointed Executive Committee.

Constituted under the chairmanship of the newly appointed President, S.A. Khan, the new Executive Committee features Rakesh K. Sharma, Gulshan Verma, and Ashok Kumar Goyal as State Coordinators. Jaspal Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of State Observer. Manav Bedi has been appointed as Vice Chairman. Furthermore, Manmohan Singh has been appointed as Senior Vice President; Vikar Ahmed as Vice President; Zeeshan-ul-Haq as General Secretary; Sanjeev Kapoor as Finance Secretary; Arif Hussain, Nirmal Singh, and Suresh Kumar Bansal as Secretaries; Puneet Mohan Singh as Organizing Secretary; and Ajay Kumar and Sahil Bedi as Press Secretaries. Additionally, Ramdeep Singh, Atul Rai Marwaha, and Gurmeet Singh 'Kaka' have joined the organization as new members.

Extending his best wishes to the new Executive Committee, Mr. Kamal Kant Jain remarked that the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India has made significant appointments within its Chandigarh unit, introducing a new leadership team. The objective behind this initiative is to strengthen the organization's commitment to justice and accountability. S.A. Khan has been appointed as the President of this new team, and he will be at the forefront of advancing the organization's goals. The Chief Guest lauded the Human Rights Council for its dedicated efforts in promoting and protecting human rights. He assured the President and the team of the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India (Chandigarh Unit) of his full support in all their endeavors. He also congratulated the entire team on their commendable efforts. S.A. Khan, the newly appointed President of the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India, stated that, with the new team in place, the organization aims to strengthen its grassroots presence to safeguard human rights. Its objective is to raise awareness among the public regarding their rights and to play an active role in advancing the causes of equality and justice. He emphasized the critical importance of ensuring the welfare of every individual.

S.A. Khan elaborated in detail on the goals and objectives of the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India. He expressed his gratitude to all the members for their support and active participation in the event. Collectively, the members pledged to uphold and protect the rights of the public, thereby reaffirming their unwavering commitment to this cause.

S.A. Khan highlighted the organization's significance in raising awareness regarding various social and cultural issues—including the harassment of women, dowry-related deaths, labor exploitation, child labor, and the protection of bodily rights. He asserted that the rights of every individual must be respected and safeguarded.
