Punjab Congress flags apprehensions about SIR Chandigarh 15 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress today flagged its concerns and apprehensions about the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls being done in Punjab. A delegation of the senior party leaders led by Member Parliament Dr Amar Singh and comprising of PCC general secretary-organisation Capt Sandeep Sandhu and Gagandeep Singh, raised various issues during an all party meeting convened by the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab here today. Later briefing reporters Dr Amar Singh and Capt Sandhu disclosed that they raised the issue of duplicate votes from other states who are registered in Punjab. They said, particularly the voters from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, where the SIR process has already been completed, need to be screened in the Punjab electoral rolls.
