Chandigarh 30 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Jagjit Singh Sangwan, Haryana State President of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and former MLA, has announced the new executive committee of the state unit after consultations with the party’s National President Jayant Chaudhary — who is also Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education and Chief General Secretary (Organization) Trilok Tyagi. Addressing a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club, Sangwan said that the executive committee includes 6 vice presidents, 9 general secretaries, 10 secretaries, and 1 treasurer. In addition, 15 members have been included as executive members. Providing detailed information about the newly constituted committee, Sangwan said the following have been appointed as Vice Presidents: Shyamlal Tyagi, Advocate (Sonipat); Mewa Singh Patar (Hisar); Rajkumar Jangda (Charkhi Dadri); Sampuran Anand (Gurugram); Jagat Singh Yadav (Narnaul); and Ajay Singh Malik (Sonipat). Those appointed as General Secretaries include: Narendra Singh Chhikara (Sonipat); Jasbir Singh Ahlawat, Advocate (Jind); Krishan Kumar Deshwal, Advocate (Karnal); Rajnarayan Pandhal, Journalist (Rohtak); Om Prakash Sardana (Fatehabad); Brahmanand, Advocate (Bhiwani); Haji Niyaz Punhana (Nuh); Ankur Dixit (Rewari); and Master Hawa Singh Soni (Tosham). Mohan Lal Narang (Fatehabad) has been appointed as Treasurer. The following have been appointed as Secretaries: Umed Singh Sarpanch (Hisar); Mahender Kumar (Yamunanagar); Rajesh (Bhiwani); Azad Nehra Bawal (Rewari); Bali Sharma (Panipat); Sushil Gehlot (Sonipat); Mahender Sharma, Chairman (Charkhi Dadri); Kapil Kumar Yadav, Chhuchakwas (Jhajjar); Kripal Singh Tanwar (Kurukshetra); and Ashok Ahlawat, Sarpanch (Jhajjar). Sangwan said that while forming the executive, representation from every district in the state was ensured, along with other considerations. He also shared that Jayant Chaudhary, National President of RLD and Union Minister, will visit Chandigarh at the end of next month and will address a grand workers’ conference. All members of the state executive will be present at this event. Sangwan further informed that in the coming days, the party will be expanded from the district level to assembly constituency level and that a women's wing will also be formed.
