Nayab government should fulfil its promise to purchase paddy crop at Rs 3100 per quintal : Naseeb Jakhar
Nayab government should fulfil its promise to purchase paddy crop at Rs 3100 per quintal : Naseeb Jakhar
BJP government should quickly give compensation for the crop damaged due to floods : Naseeb Jakhar
Chandigarh 29 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Naseeb Jakhar, Chief Spokesperson of the Haryana Kisan Congress and President of INTUC, said that Haryana's farmers are helpless and helpless, partly due to the wrath of nature and partly due to the deep slumber of the Chief Minister's Nayab government. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's double-engine government had promised farmers that the government would purchase paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal. But the truth is that the government is purchasing paddy at Rs 2,000 to Rs 12,100 per quintal. Spokesperson Naseeb Jakhar said that I myself went to many grain markets including Kurukshetra and Ladwa and saw that farmers are sitting with their paddy crop for three days because citing moisture, either the crop is not being purchased or the paddy crop is being purchased from the farmers at throwaway prices. Not only this, farmers are not getting fertilizers to grow the next crop. Our sisters and daughters stand in long queues from morning till evening to get fertilizers and are returning empty handed by evening. An appeal to the BJP's double-engine Nayab government is to have some mercy on the farmers who feed them. Thousands of acres have been submerged due to natural disasters, and in areas where there are no floods, heavy rains are reducing paddy yields. Compensate for this as soon as possible. If you don't see crops destroyed by floods or can't find sufficient data, use the drones you use to extract data on farmers burning stubble and rub salt into their wounds by imposing heavy fines on them.
