Bhagwant Mann government has trapped Punjab in a quagmire of debt : Hardev Ubha

Chandigarh 11 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Hardev Singh Ubha, State Press Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab, has stated that the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has proven to be a complete failure during its tenure. He stated that the government's performance has been nil, and the common people today are in distress due to inflation, unemployment, the poor state of law and order, and a lack of development.

Ubbha alleged that neither has any major development project been initiated in Punjab, nor have the promises made to the people been fulfilled. The government has remained confined solely to publicity, whereas the reality on the ground is completely different. He also stated that the Mann government has pushed Punjab into a quagmire of debt, placing a heavy economic burden on future generations. Despite borrowing recklessly, the government has failed to provide basic amenities to the people.

Raising farmers' issues, Ubha stated that the farmers of Punjab are also displeased with this government. Farmers have not yet received adequate compensation for their ruined crops, nor have their loans been waived. As a result, the farming community is facing an economic crisis.

He said that the people of Punjab have now realized the reality of the Aam Aadmi Party and are ready for change. Expressing their trust in the BJP's policies and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, people are ready to entrust power to the BJP in the times to come. Former Councillors Sahibi Anand, Ashok Jha, Bobby Kamboj, Arun Sai Sharma, Surinder Anand, and others were also present at the venue.
