Swallowed denture removed from food pipe with advanced therapeutic endoscopy Khanna 29 June ( PDL ) : A swallowed denture, lodged in a patient's food pipe was removed by doctors at Livasa Hospital Khanna through an advanced therapeutic endoscopy by preventing the need for surgical intervention. A 45-year-old male patient was brought to Livasa  with an accidental denture ingestion.  Upon evaluation, an urgent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy was performed by Dr. Pulkit Dhiman, consultant gastroenterologist, which revealed the denture impacted in the mid-esophagus (food pipe). Using advanced endoscopic techniques, Dr. Dhiman carefully maneuvered the foreign body into the stomach and subsequently retrieved it with a specialized Roth net, ensuring safe removal without any complications. Severe lung bleeding patient gets new lease of life at Livasa Hospital Amritsar Amritsar 18 June ( PDL ) : A patient suffering from massive hemoptysis (severe lung bleeding) got a new lease of life after an emergency interventional pulmonology and thoracic surgery at Livasa Hospital, Amritsar recently. The patient was rushed to Livasa after the repeated episodes of coughing up large amounts of blood for three days. Complex total laparoscopic hysterectomy performed at Livasa Hospital Khanna Khanna 11 June ( PDL ) : A patient with an exceptionally large uterus equivalent to a 22–24 week pregnancy underwent a successful complex total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) at Livasa Hospital Khanna recently. Aged patient with myelodysplastic syndrome treated successfully at Livasa Hospital Khanna Khanna 22 May ( PDL ) : An 86-year-old male patient with myelodysplastic syndrome which was progressing towards acute myeloid leukemia (AML), along with other serious medical conditions, was treated successfully at Livasa Hospital Khanna recently. The patient was suffering from severe sepsis, shock, pneumonia, acute kidney injury, and other multiple associated complications. The patient was brought with complaints of fever, abdominal pain, and loose stools for nearly three weeks. Upon detailed evaluation, doctors at Livasa identified severe anemia, critically low platelet count, elevated white blood cell count, and acute kidney injury. Further investigations, including serum protein electrophoresis and peripheral blood smear, indicated significant abnormalities suggestive of a serious hematological disorder.
