The BJP will not tolerate the high-handedness being meted out to the residents of Preet City, Sector 86 : Hardev Singh Ubha
S.A.S.Nagar 24 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Hardev Singh Ubha, State Press Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab, stated that the injustice being meted out to the residents of Preet City, Sector 86, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He stated that extorting ₹2.5 lakh from people in the name of an NOC is a blatant injustice.
He alleged that there is a severe shortage of basic amenities in the area—such as roads, sewerage, STPs, sanitation, drinking water, and parks—causing significant distress to the residents. Furthermore, many residents are being forced to make repeated rounds of the courts due to issues related to their plots—including unapproved plots—and ownership rights.
Hardev Singh Ubha stated that once the BJP forms the government in Punjab, the people of the region will be ensured justice, and all their legitimate demands will be resolved on a priority basis. He said that the BJP has always stood up for the rights of the people, and will continue to do so. Accompanying Ubha was Ritesh Saini—a BJP leader and resident of Sector 86—who has been continuously striving to resolve the issues faced by the residents of Preet City.
