He said that lakhs of employees and pensioners across Punjab are demanding their rightful dues. This is not charity, but a legitimate entitlement earned through their hard work. The government must now clearly state by when the pending DA dues will be paid. Sidhu said that around 6.5 lakh government employees and pensioners in Punjab are waiting for their rightful dues, and the non-payment of DA arrears for several years has created a financial liability of thousands of crores of rupees for the government....

ਡੀ.ਏ. ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਲਈ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਤਰਸਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ‘ਆਪ’ ਸਰਕਾਰ : ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉਣ, ਧਮਕਾਉਣ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ : ਸਿੱਧੂ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ 10 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਟਕ ਰਹੇ ਮਹਿੰਗਾਈ ਭੱਤੇ (ਡੀ.ਏ.) ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਖੈਰਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡੀ.ਏ. ਦਾ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ ਸਾਢੇ ਛੇ ਲੱਖ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡੀ.ਏ. ਦੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਹੱਕ ਲਈ ਧਰਨੇ ਅਤੇ...
