Jasbir Singh Bunty presented an agenda item in the Municipal Corporation meeting to purchase at least 25 new small mobile water tankers for the city. Chandigarh 29 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Jasbir Singh Bunty, former Senior Deputy Mayor and Ward Councilor of Chandigarh, moved and successfully passed an agenda during the Municipal Corporation meeting to purchase at least 25 new small mobile water tankers for the city. He noted that the demand for water rises in many areas during the summer season. Additionally, the Municipal Corporation faces challenges in ensuring adequate water supply during religious, social, and public events. Currently, the number of small water tankers is insufficient to meet the city's needs, leading to difficulties in providing timely water supply. Free medical check-up and lung health camp organized in Sector-42 Hundreds of people benefited from the health camp. Chandigarh 28 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A free medical check-up and lung health camp was organized on Sunday at the Community Center, Sector 42, Chandigarh, under the joint aegis of Manav Kalyan Parisar, Rotary Club Chandigarh, and DV Care Foundation. The camp was inaugurated by Paramjit Singh, President of the Resident Welfare Association, by lighting a lamp. Councillor and former Senior Deputy Mayor Jasbir Singh Bunty was the chief guest at the event. A large number of local residents participated in the event, got their health checked, and benefited from the health camp. Work Commences on the Disabled-Friendly Infrastructure Project Commences at Fragrance Garden, Sector 36 Chandigarh 18 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : In a significant step towards making Chandigarh more inclusive and accessible, the Horticulture Department of the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today commenced work on the development of the Disabled-Friendly Infrastructure Project at Fragrance Garden, Sector 36. The project was inaugurated with a traditional coconut-breaking ceremony in the presence of former Senior Deputy Mayor and Councillor, Ward No. 24, Jasbir Singh Bunty, whose efforts played a key role in bringing the project to the area. The project aims to make the garden fully accessible for persons with disabilities, visually impaired individuals, senior citizens, and all visitors by creating a barrier-free environment and providing inclusive public amenities.
