He also demanded Rs 50 crore to Rs 70 crores annual research grant for the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to improve the research facilities for better agriculture. Chandigarh 6 November ( PDL ) : Newly elected Rajya Sabha Member from Punjab and industrialist Rajinder Gupta was sworn in as Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) today in New Delhi. The oath of office was administered by Vice President of India and Rajya Sabha Chairman C. P. Radhakrishnan in the Parliament House.
