Need to take killing of 2 cops seriously : Warring Says, don’t rush to conclusions on mere speculation Recalls abduction of SP before 2016 Pathankot terror attack Chandigarh 22 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today expressed grave concern over the killing of two Punjab Police cops near the border in Gurdaspur district, warning that this was an ominous development and must be taken seriously. He also called for avoiding rushing to the conclusion over mere speculation without thorough probe. Warring recalled and reminded of a similar incident before the 2016 Pathankot terror attack, when a Superintendent of Police had been abducted and his vehicle was snatched. S.A.S.Nagar 22 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Nowadays, everyone lives a stressful life, and the risk of developing some illness or another is always high. Sometimes, due to negligence, minor ailments can escalate into serious illnesses. Keeping this in mind, the Mohali Press Club, in collaboration with the Shri Guru Ravidas Medical Team and its affiliated organizations, organized a free medical check-up camp today.

The chief guest at this camp was Traders Commission Chairman Ranjitpal Singh, while BJP leader Ishpal Chaudhary also attended. Ranjitpal Singh said that this social service initiative by the Mohali Press Club is a very good one. He further added that, along with journalism, it is commendable that the club considers fulfilling its social responsibility its primary duty. He said that by organizing such health checkup camps, we make a significant contribution to the welfare of our society. The guests assured the club of all possible support.
During this camp, approximately 128 people benefited from health checkups, while 72 underwent various free blood tests. A team of expert doctors provided health awareness to all attendees, advising them to maintain a balanced diet and a clean lifestyle. The experts included renowned dietitian Dr. Jagmeet Suri (Team Guide My Diet), Dr. Vandita and Dr. Sunil Sharma of Cure Healthcare, Dr. Tanvi MD Amar Hospital (General Medicine), Dr. Suchint (Dentist), Dr. HS Chauhan (Skin Disease Specialist and Dermatologist), and Dr. Charanjiv Chatterjee (Physiotherapist). Additionally, BDC Laboratory and ECG Center, Mohali, conducted free kidney tests, including uric acid, blood urea, creatinine, electrolytes sodium, potassium, chloride, blood sugar, and other tests. Team coordinator Sandeep Kumar and his teammates Harmandeep Singh, Munish Jindal, Kuldeep Singh, Sandeep and Pawan played an important role in making this camp a success. Meanwhile, all the governing body members of Mohali Press Club thanked Shri Guru Ravidas Medical Team and the entire team of expert doctors for making the camp a success.

On this occasion, Club's Acting President Sushil Garcha, General Secretary Gurmeet Singh Shahi, Vice President Manjit Singh Chana and Vijay Pal, Joint Secretary Dr. Ravinder Kaur and Vijay Kumar, Kitchen Committee Chairman Sandeep Bindra, Jaswinder Rupal, Pal Kansala, Mangat Singh Saidpur, Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal, Kulwinder Singh Bawa, Ritesh Raja, Iqbal Singh, Ujal Singh, Charan Singh Main Majri, Social Worker Gurmel Singh Mojowal were present, while Manager Jagdish Sharda and Head Cook Narinder made important contributions in running the camp smoothly.
