Farewell party given to former Secretary of Punjab Mandi Board, newly appointed Secretary and Joint Secretary welcomed
--- Chairman Harchand Singh Burst appreciated the services rendered by Ramvir as Secretary of Mandi Board

Nagar 25 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A farewell party was given to former Secretary of Punjab Mandi Board Ramvir, IAS, after his transfer and newly appointed Secretary Kumar Amit IAS and Joint Secretary Harjit Singh Sandhu PCS were welcomed. On this occasion, expressing his views in the gathering of officers, Chairman of Punjab Mandi Board Harchand Singh Burst said that Ramvir, while serving as Secretary at Punjab Mandi Board, has been working for the all-round development of the Mandi Board and its employees since the first day. The Secretary performed his duty with full dedication while taking important decisions related to every aspect of Punjab Mandi Board. Wishing him all the best for the future, Burst expressed the hope that Ramveer will continue to contribute to the interest of the state in the coming time.
The Chairman welcomed the newly appointed Secretary of Punjab Mandi Board Kumar Amit IAS and Joint Secretary Harjit Singh Sandhu PCS. He said that the experience and administrative capabilities of the newly appointed Secretary Kumar Amit and Joint Secretary Harjit Singh Sandhu will further strengthen the performance of the Mandi Board and further accelerate the development and improvement in the mandis. During this, Ramveer was honored by presenting a memento and best wishes for the future.
On this occasion, Ramveer IAS thanked the Chairman Harchand Singh Burst and said that it was because of the trust expressed by him that he has been fulfilling the responsibility of the post of Secretary and he will remember this time for the rest of his life. The new Joint Secretary Harjit Singh Sandhu said that he will discharge his responsibilities with full dedication and honesty. All the officers and employees of the Board were present on this occasion.
