Gur Amrit Kaur Raipuri Crowned Miss Grand Punjab, Set to Represent State at National Level
Chandigarh 21 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : In a grand crown ceremony held at the Chandigarh Press Club, Gur Amrit Kaur Raipuri was crowned Miss Grand Punjab. The event was graced by State Director Akshita Arora, who marked her special presence on the occasion. Gur Amrit Kaur will represent Punjab at the Miss Grand India pageant later this month. If she emerges victorious, she will get an opportunity to represent India at the international level.
Hailing from Sri Anandpur Sahib, Gur Amrit Kaur credited her success to her mentor, guide, and philosopher Akshita Arora. She expressed gratitude for being given a platform at the national level. She shared that she has been winning titles since the age of 15. Apart from modeling, she aspires to become a law officer, which she considers her true passion.
Gur Amrit emphasized that success in modeling requires not just physical beauty but also mental strength and balance. She is an animal and nature lover and actively supports plantation drives and animal care initiatives. Her hobbies include painting, dancing, and cooking, where she enjoys being creative in the kitchen. Public speaking is one of her key strengths, which played a major role in her winning the title.
Delivering a message to young girls, she encouraged them to move forward with confidence, focus on physical fitness, and equally prioritize mental development and self-presentation. Speaking on the occasion, Akshita Arora highlighted that Punjab and Chandigarh are rich in talent. She mentioned that Gur Amrit emerged as the winner among nearly 150 contestants, based on her looks, skills, and communication abilities.
