Dolphin PG College Creates History at MRS-PTU Convocation; Bags 38 Prestigious Academic Medals
S.A.S.Nagar 21 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Dolphin PG College set a new benchmark in academic excellence, securing 38 medals at the convocation ceremony of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University recently held at the University Campus in Bathinda. In a significant achievement, 19 students were awarded gold medals and 19 received silver medals for outstanding performance in university examinations conducted between 2020 and 2025. The medal winners represented diverse disciplines, including forensic science, optometry, microbiology, radiology, operation theatre technology, and agriculture.
The ceremony was presided over by Hon’ble Governor of Punjab Gulab Chand Kataria, who urged students to contribute to nation-building through emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, green energy and space technology. He encouraged them to become job creators and apply knowledge to real-world challenges. Vice Chairman Vibhav Mittal said the milestone would inspire students to aim higher, while Principal Manu Jain and Dean Academics Malkit Singh praised the consistent efforts of students and staff.
