Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's statement emboldens terrorists, BJP strongly condemns it : Hardev Singh Ubha

Chandigarh 6 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab State Press Secretary Hardev Singh Ubha strongly condemned the statement made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on the Jalandhar bomb blast case, saying that the Chief Minister's statement is irresponsible and emboldens terrorist forces. Ubha said that while the Punjab DGP is seeing this incident as a terrorist act and the investigating agencies are also taking it seriously, it is very sad and condemnable for the Chief Minister to make wrong statements for political gain.

He said that instead of making political bread on such sensitive issues, the government should prioritize the peace and security of Punjab and the safety of the people. The Chief Minister's statement not only creates confusion among the people but also has a negative impact on the morale of the security agencies. 

Hardev Singh Ubha said that the BJP will not allow any compromise with the law and order situation in Punjab and will continue to raise its voice to hold the government accountable on such matters. Ubha said that the Bhagwant Mann government has failed on every front and every section of Punjab is unhappy with this government.
