Warring demands thorough probe into money laundering
Says, what has been revealed so far just tip of iceberg
Hopes ED takes probe to logical conclusion
Chandigarh 7 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today demanded a thorough probe into the money laundering following the Enforcement Directorate raids in Punjab at the premises of a person close to the powers be. In a statement, Warring said, “the reports of the ED raids and the accompanying visuals of cash flying in air from the premises of a person very close to the powers be, has exploded the myth of those claiming themselves to be ‘kattar-imaandaar’”.
He said, this has only reaffirmed and reinforced the public belief as how the Punjabis have been looted and robbed during the last four years of the Aam Aadmi Party regime. “Once probed properly and thoroughly, this will just be the tip of an iceberg. Hope the ED takes the case to its logical conclusion”, he said, adding, “Punjab has been bled to bankruptcy by the wanton extravagance that came at the cost of Punjabis’ pockets and state exchequer”.
