Two-Day National Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha to be Held in Zirakpur on April 11 and 12, 2026
Chandigarh 10 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The two-day national convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha is being organized at the Wedlock Manor in Zirakpur on April 11 and 12, 2026. This convention is being held under the chairmanship of Dr. Raja Manvendra Singh, the National President of the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha. Raja Manvendra Singh—the National President—is a three-time Member of Parliament (MP) from Mathura. Key organizers of the event include Tikka Shivendra Pal Kutlehar (National Vice President), Vijay Singh Songara (National Vice President), Gajendra Singh Rana (Chandigarh President), Yashpal Rana (Haryana President), Kamnesh Dhalaria (Chandigarh Secretary), Aman Ram (Chandigarh Vice President), Umesh Singh Rana (Punjab Youth President), Sahil Singh Rathore (Punjab Youth Vice President), and Kunwar Neeraj Singh.
Raja Manvendra Singh, the National President, stated that members of the Kshatriya community from across the country will participate in the national convention scheduled for April 11 and 12, 2026. In addition to these members, distinguished guests from the community, intellectuals, and representatives from several royal families are also expected to attend the program. He further noted that the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha was established in 1897; it is the oldest organization of its kind in the country and has now completed 129 years of existence. The organization is active in 24 states across the nation. Representatives from all 24 states will participate in this event, with a significant presence of youth and women members. Hundreds of members are expected to arrive on the 12th. During the convention, various issues pertinent to the Kshatriya community will be discussed in detail. He stated that the main agenda items to be discussed at the convention are as follows: replacing caste-based reservation with an economic basis; repealing the Atrocities Act (SC-ST Act); securing approval from the Government of India for declaring a national holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap; providing educational assistance to underprivileged students within the community; engaging in continuous correspondence with the Government of India to urge a reconsideration of UGC regulations; incorporating Kshatriya history into the school curriculum; preserving and promoting Kshatriya history; upholding and propagating Kshatriya culture, ethics, education, and traditions; serving as an apex body to ensure effective coordination among Kshatriya organizations spread across the country; and working towards Kshatriya unity as well as their social and economic upliftment.
The agenda also includes working for the protection of the nation, nature, and culture; undertaking the restoration of heritage forts, palaces, and monuments established by Kshatriyas, and working towards their preservation; eradicating alcohol abuse, the dowry system, and the practice of *Mrityu Bhoj* (post-demise feasts), while simultaneously promoting broader social reforms; affiliating individuals dedicated to social welfare with the *Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha*; striving to construct memorials for eminent personalities and *Kshatriya Bhavans* (community centers) in every province of the country; and working towards the unity and sovereignty of all sections of society within the nation.
