Councillor Hardeep Singh Buterla Plants Saplings as Part of 'Van Mahotsav Week' Chandigarh 12 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Hardeep Singh Buterla, Councillor of Ward No. 30 (Municipal Corporation), launched a tree-planting drive in his ward as part of 'Van Mahotsav Week'. Saplings were planted in the park situated near House Nos. 215, 224, 256, 321, 327, 352, 361, and 318. Local residents showed keen interest in this noble initiative and appreciated Councillor Buterla's commitment to increasing greenery in the area. Interns Visit Newly Developed Forest at Colony No. 4 Under Field Exposure and Social Responsibility Programme Chandigarh 26 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : As part of the ongoing Internship Field Exposure and Social Responsibility Programme under the New Education Policy (NEP), The Environment Society of India (ESI), Chandigarh, in association with the Forest & Wildlife Department, U.T. Chandigarh, organized an educational visit of interns to the newly developed forest at Colony No. 4, Industrial Area, Phase-I, Chandigarh. ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ : ਅਰਜੁਨ ਪਵਾਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੋਰਲ ਟ੍ਰਾਈਐਂਗਲ ਦਿਵਸ 'ਤੇ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 12 ਜੂਨ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਜੈਵ ਵਿਭਿੰਨਤਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕੋਰਲ ਟ੍ਰਾਈਐਂਗਲ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਆਈਏਐਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂਪਾਲਿਕਾ ਕੋਚਿੰਗ, ਸੈਕਟਰ 24ਡੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ 500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਬੀਵੀਪੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਮੈਟਰੋਪੋਲੀਟਨ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਪਵਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਲੋੜ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਤੱਕ ਸੀਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ; ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਡੀਏਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸੈਕਟਰ 10, ਐਸਡੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸੈਕਟਰ 32, ਅਤੇ ਰਤਨ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਸ਼ਨਜ਼, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਦ...

ESI Organises Internship Training Programme, RTI Awareness Session and Lecture on Environmental Laws Chandigarh 12 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Environment Society of India (ESI), Chandigarh, is conducting an internship training programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students under the National Education Policy (NEP). The programme commenced on June 5 and will continue until mid-July 2027, providing students with 80 to 120 hours of practical training and field experience.
