Sunderkand recitation organized at Kinnar Mandir Sector 26 The annual festival is being celebrated at the temple from August 15 to August 24. Chandigarh 18 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A Sunderkand recitation was held on Tuesday at the Jai Mata Kinnar Temple in Sector 26, Bapu Dham. Before the Sunderkand recitation began, the idols of Lord Rama, Mother Sita, and Hanuman were decorated and worshipped according to religious rituals. K.C. Vaishnav and his party then performed a musical recitation of the Sunderkand. Finally, after the grand aarti, prasad was distributed among all the devotees. In his discourses, Pandit KC Vaishnav said that reciting Sunderkand before any auspicious work definitely makes that work successful. Sunderkand makes all the works beautiful. Kinnar Community offered a Gold umbrella to Sai Baba on Guru Purnima Chandigarh 29 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Sai Ladli Guru Ma Bunty Mahant, the Kinnar community, and the Sai Mandir Trust, Sector 29, jointly offered a gold umbrella to Sai Baba. Fourth Day of the Ashtanhika Mahaparva Mahotsav Sixty-Four Arghyas Offered for the Elimination of Anger, Pride, Deceit and Greed Chandigarh 24 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The fourth day of the Siddhachakra Mahamandal Vidhan and Shanti Mahayajna, being organized on the auspicious occasion of the Ashtanhika Mahaparva at Shri Digamber Jain Mandir, Sector 27-B, Chandigarh, concluded with immense devotion, faith, and spiritual fervour.
