These districts include Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Bathinda, and Mansa. On Tuesday, a heatwave alert remains in effect for 10 districts: Ferozepur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Moga, Bathinda, Ludhiana, Barnala, Mansa, and Sangrur. Starting Wednesday, the heatwave is expected to engulf the entire state of Punjab. On Sunday, an increase of 1.2 degrees was recorded in Punjab's overall temperature.
