S.A.S.Nagar 8 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Under the leadership of Sanjeev Vashisht, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is continuously gaining strength in Mohali. Impressed by the BJP's pro-people policies and the work being undertaken for the country's holistic development—and inspired by BJP State Press Secretary Hardev Singh Ubha, Circle President Jasminder Singh, Mahila Morcha Circle President Harshita, and Ritesh Saini—several respected leaders associated with various social, religious, and public service organizations have decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party.
On this occasion, BJP District President Sanjeev Vashisht respectfully inducted the new members into the BJP family by adorning them with the party *patka* (sash). He assured them that every party worker would be accorded full respect and provided with ample opportunities to serve within the party.
A large number of people joined the BJP during this event, including Varun Vasudeva, Gurmant Singh, Lavish Kathuria, Vivek Pandhi, Ashok K. Sharma, Gopal Krishna Sharma, Subhash Verma, Pandit Mohan Lal Joshi, Hakam Singh Jaswal, Indu Verma, and Anjali Sood. Also notably present on this occasion were Circle President Jasminder Singh, Vice President Manoj Sharma, General Secretaries Gulshan Sood and Pawan Sachdeva, Mandeep Kaur, Deepa Arora, Raj Sambhalki, OBC Morcha President Ritesh Saini, and Akhilesh Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion, District President Sanjeev Vashisht stated that people from all sections of society are joining the party, inspired by the developmental works taking place across the country under the leadership of Narendra Modi and by the BJP's growing popularity. He added that this wave of new members will further strengthen the party at the grassroots level and infuse new vigor into the BJP organization in Punjab. He asserted that the people of Punjab have now made up their minds to give the BJP an opportunity this time around.
