The milestone surgery was performed on 7-year-old child, Abhijot from Behlan Khanpur in Fatehgarh Sahib district, by a team of doctors led by Dr TS Mahant, Executive Director, CTVS and Dr Rajat Gupta, Senior Consultant, Department of Paediatric Cardiac Sciences, Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Chandigarh 7 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has decided to contest the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections in 2027. The party will field its candidates in all 117 assembly constituencies. In this regard, the party will organize a Punjab State Conference in Jalandhar on June 14, 2026. The party's National President, Shri Chirag Paswan (Honorable Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India), will address the party's state conference as the Chief Guest. Ravinder Pal Singh Bawa, Convener of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), stated that: The Lok Janshakti Party will field candidates on all seats in the upcoming assembly elections. Preparations for this endeavor are commencing with the celebration of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's birth anniversary and a review meeting of the office bearers of the party's Punjab State Committee. This event is scheduled to be held on May 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Red Cross Bhawan, Jalandhar, Punjab. During this occasion, serious discussions will be held regarding the preparations for the Punjab State Conference, which is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2026, at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar. On June 14, 2026, the party's National President, Shri Chirag Paswan (Honorable Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India), will address the state conference as the Chief Guest and boost the morale of the party's office bearers and workers.
He further informed that the schedule for the following programs in Jalandhar on May 9, 2026, is outlined as follows: At 9:00 AM, all participants will assemble at the Devi Talab Mandir Shakti Peeth, Jalandhar, to seek the blessings of the Shakti Peeth. Subsequently, at 9:30 AM, a convoy of 100 party cars will depart from the Devi Talab Mandir Shakti Peeth for the Valmiki Mandir on G.T. Road. At 10:00 AM, the party convoy will proceed to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chowk on Jalandhar Road to garland the statue of Lord Valmiki and seek his blessings. After garlanding the statue of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar there and seeking his blessings, the party convoy will depart at 10:30 AM for Guru Ravidas Bhawan on Link Road, Jalandhar. After seeking the blessings of Sant Guru Ravidas there, the convoy will arrive at the Red Cross Bhawan, Jalandhar, at 11:00 AM.
