Art of Living delegation meets Punjab Governor
Chandigarh 7 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A delegation from The Art of Living paid a courtesy call on Punjab Governor and UT Administrator, Mr. Gulab Chand Kataria, at Raj Bhavan. The delegation was led by Brahmachari Prajnachaitanya (Rohit Sikka), Chairman, Vyakti Vikas Kendra India. The delegation included Suresh Babu, Advisor and former Trustee, Ashok Kharya, Director – Water Conservation, and former Chief Engineer, Central Water Commission and Rajesh Jindal, Senior Teacher and Director, Social Welfare Projects.
During the meeting, various topics related to environmental protection, water conservation, rural development, and social welfare were discussed. The delegation briefed the Governor on The Art of Living's public awareness campaigns, service projects, and future plans across the country.
The discussion focused on promoting collective efforts for environmental protection, conservation of water resources, and social upliftment in Punjab and Chandigarh. The Governor praised the various initiatives of The Art of Living, calling the work being done for the benefit of society and the environment important and assured future support and guidance. On this occasion, the delegation also honoured the Governor by presenting him a memento.
