S.A.S.Nagar 16 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Gurpreet Kaur Ubha, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Ward No. 41, Mohali, filed her nomination papers today for the Municipal Corporation elections. Present on this occasion alongside her were BJP leaders, party workers, supporters, and a large number of residents from the ward. After filing her nomination, Gurpreet Kaur Ubha stated that she would work with complete diligence and dedication towards the all-round development of Ward No. 41. She affirmed that addressing the basic issues faced by the residents of Village Sambhalki, Nanu Majra, Sector 85 (Wave Estate), Preet City (Sector 86), and Sector 88 would be her top priority.
She further added that the BJP is committed to providing essential amenities in the area, including public transport, canal-based drinking water supply, better roads, efficient sewerage systems, sanitation services, parks, streetlights, community centers, sports grounds, public toilets, and other necessary facilities. Appealing to the residents of the ward, Gurpreet Kaur Ubha urged them to extend their support to the BJP to strengthen the politics of development and honest service, and to ensure her victory by a significant margin.Speaking on the occasion, Hardev Singh Ubha, State Press Secretary of BJP Punjab, remarked that the residents of Ward No. 41 are aligning themselves with the BJP's development-oriented vision, and that the party is poised to receive overwhelming support in the upcoming Mohali Municipal Corporation elections.
