Editor Karanjit Kaur was included in the core group team. A meeting of the core group members was held in District SAS Nagar, Mohali, where issues related to social issues were discussed. A monthly meeting was also scheduled at this meeting, which will be held on the second Saturday of every month. This meeting also pledged to raise awareness about human rights at the local level, help victims reach the Commission and obtain justice, report cases of human rights violations, and act as a bridge between the Commission and society. All members also appealed to the public to support them in preventing human rights violations.
Editor Karanjit Kaur expressed her gratitude to the Punjab State Human Rights Commission for including her on the core group team and for their confidence in her. Karanjit Kaur also pledged to work to raise public awareness about human rights and act as a bridge between the Commission and society.
