Punjab government should immediately pay the outstanding allowances of the employees and follow the orders of the High Court : Giani Harpreet Singh
Chandigarh 21 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Shiromani Akali Dal (Resurgent) President Giani Harpreet Singh has welcomed the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court in favor of the employees regarding the payment of outstanding allowances through a written press statement. He said that this decision is a victory for the right of the employee class which was being demanded by them for a long time.
He appealed to the Punjab government to immediately implement the second order of the High Court without any further hurdle and release the outstanding installments of DA to the employees. He said that government employees are the backbone of the administration and it is the primary responsibility of the government to protect their economic rights.
